This online module provides greater insight into the elements that make up the Four Pillars of Safety.
The Four Pillars of Safety are:
- Safety Policy and Objectives
- Safety Risk Management
- Safety Assurance
- Safety Promotion
We look at each of the Four Pillars of Safety and outline the elements in detail. When you have completed this module, you will be familiar with the following:
- The content of a safety policy
- The safety accountabilities and responsibilities of personnel within an organization
- Setting safety objectives and measuring safety performance indicators
- Hazard identification
- Risk assessment techniques and risk mitigation strategies
- Continuous improvement processes
- Safety promotion strategies
Each topic in this module will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. There is a quiz for each of the lessons and each quiz will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
A Certificate of Completion will be issued upon completion of all lessons, associated topics and the associated quizzes.
